1st October 2008 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: 30-35 knots Surf / Sea State: Big ans scary Air Temperature: 13ºC Sea Temperature: 15ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Managed a proper session today and in proper autumnal conditions too. Lots of wind loads of big waves and no one else on the beach. Just the usual blasting about in amongst big walls of white-water. Weaving my way out the back, head upwind a little then blast back in with some mad backside wave-riding from time to time. Despite being perfectly powered on a 4.5m and my little wave board and the sun shining only 4 stars as it would have been good to have someone else you there just for a little bit of extra confidence in the big conditions. |
